WELL
I FINALLY FINISHED IT

This one will be a Draw and Develop. It is sorta like the other contest, except for a few few things:

Picture does not have to be colored or full body

As a detailed history, you must write a story/flash fiction about how they became the maenilia they are now; personality-wise.

Full body and color pics and literature with description are more likely to be favored, just so I know you can draw/ work with them, and have fun doing so.

Basically the requirements are this:
Short but descriptive backstory
Some form of art to represent the maenilia you are trying for (drawings, sculptures, paintings, literature, ect.)
Reason why you want the maenilia
Bio:

Name:
Gender:
Age:

Height:
Weight:
Length:

Personality:
History/Backstory:

NOTE that if you do literature as your representation, then that is a separate story from your 'develop' potion of the entry.

It is HIGHLY recommended that you read the species reference here, if you haven't already.

I know people will ask, so here's what Im gonna say: They can have piercings, but they can't be a walking jewelry box. A few studs or a bracelet is fine, but think about it. First of all, where are they gonna put an earring? IN THEIR FEATHERS? I dont think so. And a bracelet for decoration would be fine, but you would have to figure out how they got it. They dont usually socialize with humans.
Kay. Scars. Im not gonna say a whole bunch. Nothing bloody. Theses are about 300 pound animals. I dont think much is gonna try to nom on a 10 foot animal. So scars would be from accidents and perhaps a fall or fights between rivaling males.
So maybe a few scratches, but nothing insane, people.

Okay, as you can see, you are probably puking rainbows right now because of that special Maenilia.

ANYWAYS
Since this little guy had a birth defect, and turned out with some unnatural but beautiful colors, they need some special attention.
SO
IF YOU PLAN TO TRY FOR IT
You must add a condition to WHY it was born this way.
For example:

"....blah blah blah and her mother was blind, due to this she couldn't see what colors her mate was...blah blah blah...crazy color defect and markings....ect ect."

Make sense?
GOOD.
(If it doesnt, just ask. I dont bite. Usually.)

So for #4's bio, just add a separate space labeled, "Special:" and thats where you write your explanation. I honestly dont care what goes there, as long as its creative and makes *some* sense.

BASIC STUFF:
You may only try out for one
I will only allow 3 slots for each maenilia. This is another thing I'm going to change.
Not first come first serve, but try to get here before ll 12 slots are taken.
More drawings and stuff increase your chances of winning
UNTIL THE DEADLINE You must credit ALL ART until winners are decided.
